The 50th International Famous Furniture (Dongguan) Exhibition Opens Tomorrow

From August 18th to 21st, the 2023 Dongguan International Design Week and the 50th International Famous Furniture (Dongguan) Exhibition will be held at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Houjie Town, Dongguan City. The theme of this year's Dongguan International Design Week is "Furniture Tide · Made in Dongguan", giving full play to the influence of Dongguan as a "world-class furniture industry cluster", expressing the vision of "Designing Big Home" to create a better life, integrating global upstream and downstream industrial resources such as design, architecture, home furnishing, customization, soft clothing, materials, outdoor camping, tide play, etc., to realize "Global ID · Dongguan Landing", enabling the high-quality development of Dongguan furniture industry. Today, under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly sponsored by the China Furniture Association and the Dongguan Municipal people's Government, the "2023 World Furniture Federation Annual meeting and World Furniture Industry Cluster Conference" jointly sponsored by the people's Government of Houjie Town and the people's Government of Dalingshan Town will be held in Houjie, Dongguan. The conference focused on the prospects and initiatives of cluster construction, showing the broad potential and prospects of Dongguan's world-class furniture industry cluster.
2023 Dongguan International Design Week and the 50th International Famous Furniture Fair has 7 exhibition halls with an exhibition area of over 650000 square meters and 1000 furniture brands. The scope of the exhibits covers a complete industrial chain of large household, such as finished furniture, whole house customization, material matching, soft decoration, etc., as well as a combination of cross-border resources such as outdoor life, camping, art and play, focusing on the high-end, quality, branding and intelligent development of Dongguan furniture industry.
At the same time, the exhibition will also hold the 2023 Dongguan Tide Play Outdoor Camping Life Exhibition and the 2023 China (Guangdong) International Furniture Machinery Autumn Material Exhibition.
The furniture manufacturing industry is one of the four characteristic industries in Dongguan. The "Foguan Pan Home Furnishing Industry Cluster" has been selected as the national advanced manufacturing industry cluster. It has the "China Furniture Exhibition and Trade Capital" Houjie Town, "China's First Furniture Export Town" Dalingshan Town and other furniture industry cluster core areas are also one of the living centers and distribution centers of China's home furnishing boards.
According to statistics, Dongguan now has 365 regulated enterprises in the furniture manufacturing industry, with a total industrial output value of 39.875 billion yuan in 2022. It also has service platforms such as Dongguan International Famous Furniture Design and Research Institute, China Dongguan (Furniture) Intellectual Property Rights Rapid Protection Assistance Center, Dongguan Quality Inspection Center (Provincial Furniture Inspection Station), etc.
